Most of the big seed suppliers will do them, but most lettuces don't do well at warm temp's, personally I think it's a little late to be starting now. But check out the seed suppliers instructions as I've never bothered with them.

As Richy says, it's a hard crop, it's not something you want to bother with.

Indoor lettuce is like square wheels to me.  It's a cold crop for starters and you get winter varieties that are happy outdoors all year.

Why on earth would you want to grow them inside? :?

it's not us that want's it is is a old fella on our allotment has asked about them. I dont like lettuce so would not grow them anyway

Well, , it  might be worth trying some cut and come again variety, will be less  likely to run to seed.
