We are on the outside of our allotment gardens. The left "side" of our rectangle is eastfacing and is bounded by a large natural ditch in which there is a native hedgerow, with small trees such as hawthorn, willow, oak and small plants like bluebell, moss and arum lilies.
Is there anything that could be planted in this area ? It's not densely planted and gets dappled light. I was thinking about putting some jerusalems here, as I have heard others suceeding with them in some light shade

Raspberries are happy in dappled shade, I believe.

Maybe also a salad bed; lettuces don't like being in full sun (that's assuming we get some this summer of course!)

That hedgerow sounds lovely.  I like my lotty hedges and underplant them with all sorts, specially comfrey. You can plant blackberries in the hedge too if there isn't already some there.  I grew spuds right up to my hedge last year and J artichokes, leeks and celeriac, even my runner beans were up against the hedge, with just enough room to get round and they didn't seem to mind. My soil had a lot of manure chucked in and around though.  The comfrey doesn't need any food though and makes a good plant food and compo activator amonst other things.  I like my hedge too as it's always filled with lovely birds and some not-so lovely pigeons

I even got a mother feeding squabs on my lotty last year. I know they're a pesky nuisance but aw  :D

hubby has a video of a chaffinch **landing on his hand** and sitting on his finger for a good few minutes before it flew away.

I didn't believe it was real

You can successfully grow veg in dappled shade near tress, but you would need to improve the soil as tree roots take a lot of moisture out of the soil and you may need to step up the watering. I would suggest you start off seeds elsewhere and give them a good head start and then transplant once the roots are established. Calabrese, beetroot, kale, khold rabi, little gem lettuce and radish are all a little shade tolerant. Some herbs may also succed. Rhubarb is also likely to do well, I have some growing right under a pear tree and have tried to get it all out several times and it comes up every year without fail with increased vigour.

Gosh, this is exciting, a regal dispute
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Oops Two Kings! I don't want to start a horticultural war or anything, I'm not so sure about being King anyway as my crown keeps slipping over my eyes whilst I'm typing. Maybe I should become the Duke of Windsor instead?
