Rustic Polytunnel

Thought I would try and share some pictures of my polytunnel which I built using bamboo.

So pleased with it I then built another!

Hope this works because I've never done this before. :roll:

It only cost me 15 euros for the plastic. I'll more than likely pull it down in november and build another one, some of the overhead arches have broken and need replacing. Still chuffed with it though.

you clever girl Mabel, that looks great! You must have used a lot of bamboo canes though!!!!!

absolutely loads, luckily they grow wild along the roadside here. I decimated at least 3 great big clumps. Have to wait for them to grow again before I can make anything else. it was hard work but I really enjoyed doing it.

Well done Mabel. Where did you get the plastic from? Working on a shoestring so sounds just up my street. Have lots of canes, grow faster than weeds! Thank you for the photos

They sell it in all the "hardware" stores here and all different widths. funnily enough I asked for the length I wanted and then he weighed it and charged me by the weight. Apparently it is how they do it here :roll: Dont know how much it would cost you in the UK or where you could buy it but I'm sure there is someone on here who could help.
