Not only do we only have 36 out of the original 300 chooks left, not only has nearly everyone who has bought our POL's say how lovely they are, not only have some customers recommended me to their friends, but one of my early customers from February has just called. He had 12, and they are selling the eggs from their garden quicker than the girls can lay them, so they are on their way over for another 12!!!!!!! And another couple have ordered 6, but they are just waiting for their fencing to be delivered, then the gardener has to put it up!!!!!

Waaaaahaaaaay, I'm a lovely broody mother hen!!!!!

As someone who has 6 of your Amberlinks, I can perfectly understand people wanting more. They are lovely hens and as you say laying like mad, if in some strange places.

No Rob, without us those particular 300 would have been gassed like the 200 that we didn't have room for!!!!!

And yes, Brian was saying earlier, doesn't it look empty and lonely out there with only 18 running around!!!!

Oh and just had another call a lady from Nottinghamshire is coming tomorrow for 6!

So we will be ordering some more layer day olds beginning of April. Don't know whether to get more Amberlinks, Brian is quite keen on them, or the Goldlines, and the hatchery do a white leghorn cross that lays white eggs........... I'd like some black ones, but our hatchery doesn't do them, and the black rock day olds are pricier!

Well done Annie!!!!!!!.....talking of egg sales, Karl went out this morning with a basketful on his arm and managed to sell 4 dozen!!! Came back and our neighbour wanted a dozen for her friend!!!! Gonna have to get these hatching eggs sorted pretty quick!!!!
