Hi all,

I'm just about to repot my tomatoes and was wondering when i should start feeding them and also when can i plant outside?

you can start feeding now but dont plant out until all risk of frost has gone

it looks nice a strong too

I thought you don't start feeding until first truss comes?  but I could be wrong, I very often am!!!!!   :lol:  :lol:

i have always started to feed at the size igorina plant is now and had very good crops

but i think every one has there own way of doing it  :lol:  :lol:

Thanks. The other one i have has a thicker main stem than this one.

I have had conflicting advice from books etc so thought it best to ask. One book said plant out after first truss has flowered, with the weather like it is at the moment though looks like they'll be on the windowsill for a good while longer.

I've only just sowed mine  :D   That looks a real good plant but I think it's true you don't bother feeding til the first truss sets

Depends on where you are in the country as to when you plant them out but I do at the end of May beginning of June but we get late frosts as I've found out to my cost

I'd start feeding that tom plant, but just weak solutions for now. Don't need masses of growth just yet. And definitely wait for frost free dates - impatience alone killed many a plant.

Hi sharky. I sowed em in January, early i know but thats what it said on the packet! Seeds were from poundland! There's a couple of other posts on here about 'em including a photo of when they were little bless 'em...
