[Snap Dragon]

I saw it advertised in a circular the other day and am very tempted to try it (purely for the girls of course )

Has anybody else tried it? I really fancy growing my own popcorn.

As if I haven't got enough to grow this year (my seed box is about to burst!) and it's been so wet, frozen, windy and now wet again that I haven't even been able to get any beds dug yet!!!

I was tempted as well Snap Dragon and gave in so will be giving them a go but growing them at home rather than the lottie as I have other sweetcorn planned and no extra room - mind you that will not stop me buying even more veg seeds and plants - our local market does veg plants and you get some interesting stuff like Red Orach so of course I have to have some of that and anyway who wants flowers in the back garden

I grew them one year but I never managed to pop them.  The instructions sais to pop them in the microwave but all I did was set the microwave on fire!  :oops:

I actually found some of them I'd saved recently and am planning on trying them in the tried and trusted hot air popcorn maker so we'll see how they do (although they might be a bit old now).

looks like fun. id love to hear how you get on
