LOOOOOOK! our new lavender araucana chicks! OUt of 6 eggs, 3 hatched. We are already taking bets as to male/female ratio - so far we reckon 2 boys one girl as two are slightly bigger and have bumpier heads where there combs are going to be.

They are cute

I only had one lavendar araucana hatch so he/she is all alone for the next couple of weeks before my next chicks hatch (hopefully with a better outcome now I have a new inc).

I call mine a he usually because chances are it will be but I'm not bothered this time round because this time I can keep it no matter what the sex
