Anyone seen a chook ice-skate.

Laughed my socks off this morning, OH emptied a wheelbarrow out onto the grass, the water had completely frozen so it was a thick sheet of ice that came out. At least half of the chooks tried their luck on the ice and promptly fell on their botties. I just wish I'd had the video camera to hand.
The expressions on their faces were priceless. !

Mine too!!!! I was doing some planting and all i could hear was tap tap tap tap  :lol:  8)

Aw!  Skating hens, that conjours up a picture :lol:  :lol:  :lol: .

You must have more adventurous chuck than me. I put a couple of rows of turf down for mine (they've eaten my lawn), and at first they wouldn't stand on it, just mooched around edges pecking at the grass. :lol:

Mine stand on the patio tapping at my french windows, it's quite comical to look out to see 4 little heads peering in. :roll:

I stay in scotland so our chooks are pro's on ice , snow ect . They fly from there perch in the shed when i open the door in the mornings , They are so funny  :lol:

Tht would have been well worth seeing!  I love taking the kids to fee the ducks when it's icy, just for the sadistic pleasure of watching them on the frozen lakee :D
