Anyone seen a chook ice-skate.

Laughed my socks off this morning, OH emptied a wheelbarrow out onto the grass, the water had completely frozen so it was a thick sheet of ice that came out. At least half of the chooks tried their luck on the ice and promptly fell on their botties. I just wish I'd had the video camera to hand.
The expressions on their faces were priceless. !

You must have more adventurous chuck than me. I put a couple of rows of turf down for mine (they've eaten my lawn), and at first they wouldn't stand on it, just mooched around edges pecking at the grass.

Mine stand on the patio tapping at my french windows, it's quite comical to look out to see 4 little heads peering in. :roll:

Tht would have been well worth seeing!  I love taking the kids to fee the ducks when it's icy, just for the sadistic pleasure of watching them on the frozen lakee
