The prognosis for my lovely Barnvelder was not a good one. It was something to do with her crop, it was full of water and not going though, it wasn't compacted or a sour crop, the vet thought possibly a pendulus crop or something else that i couldn't compute, but either way the vet felt that her chances were less than 50/50. She wouldn't eat any thing and although had been given antibiotics she had got weak. A sad day.
