I've hear olive oil is good is this right ??

:roll: I've been told olive oil is a good thing to add to feed is this true or not and if so how much an when or any surgestions for giving them a health boost please

hello madhouse and aunt sally,  I know this post is an old one, but i was looking up olive oil as i have also read somewhere that it is good for chooks, but can't remember where, so i was double checking on the forum. The reason i had questioned it was i had prepared my chooks spagetti worms, and coated in a little olive oil to stop it sticking. Hope i've come up with a good tip there as cod liver oil could be used instead of olive oil and may be a good way of getting them to eat it. I'm wondering if i have confused reading that olive oil is good for when they are egg bound, taken orally, and for oiling the vent, rather than for health.
