Horse Radish

I bought one of these too.. It get's a bit invasive after a while so you need to either keep the rootball in check or grow in a large sunken container to contain the roots...grind or mince up the roots and mix with a bit of mayonnaise and a bit of mustard...mmmm lubbly jubbly

I wouldnt bother growing it, if you look around the hedgerows you,ll find it growing wild.  You dont need to dig up much. First i tried i made it to strong and couldnt take the lid off the jar without it making your eyes water.
If you do plant it in allotment make sure you isolate it in a bin or something or it,ll spread and take some getting rid of.

Fresh horseradish is fantastic. And easy to grow .

Any tips on group and how to plant. Just one of the new things we thought we would try but finding very little about it around.

Thanks everyone for the informed along with amusing posts. We will put everyone on a two plot each side  warning notification. Don't you hate it when that happens, you buy something and people warn you off it. There is no way we are not going to grow it now. Thanks.
