Any tips on group and how to plant. Just one of the new things we thought we would try but finding very little about it around.

I bought one of these too.. It get's a bit invasive after a while so you need to either keep the rootball in check or grow in a large sunken container to contain the roots...grind or mince up the roots and mix with a bit of mayonnaise and a bit of mustard...mmmm lubbly jubbly ;)

I'll look up growing conditions for you and come back in anohter post with them unless someone beats me to it that is ;)

I wouldnt bother growing it, if you look around the hedgerows you,ll find it growing wild.  You dont need to dig up much. First i tried i made it to strong and couldnt take the lid off the jar without it making your eyes water.
If you do plant it in allotment make sure you isolate it in a bin or something or it,ll spread and take some getting rid of.

Fresh horseradish is fantastic. And easy to grow .
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Too easy by half...

Any tips on how to eradicate the wretched stuff?  It goes down for miles
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

My tip is to plant it in some one else's plot  . it'll get to yours in a year or so

Thanks everyone for the informed along with amusing posts. We will put everyone on a two plot each side  warning notification. Don't you hate it when that happens, you buy something and people warn you off it. There is no way we are not going to grow it now. Thanks.

I found it very easy to kill  so didn't try again. Dunno wot I did wrong if its that easy to grow, mind you are talking to someone who can't grow rocket from seed.
