Heat-resistant varieties

I have tried to order more heat-resistant varieties after suffering disappointing results with my dwarf beans, potatoes and beetroots.
So do any you have any experience growing Pongo dwarf beans, Globe 2 Detroit beetroot and Rosabelle and Prospere new potatoes?

I normally have no problem with beetroot. I have been successfully sowing Egypt seeds for several years but, it was a paltry harvest last year, despite mulching and covering with fleece. The same for my dwarf beans and the leeks I transplanted. On the question of leeks, a neighbour across the road planted his leeks closer together than normal and they seemed to thrive quite well (he obviously had access to tap well). The person next to our vegetable garden fills up our water tank several times during the season, in exchange for the land owner's permission to deposit his hedge cuttings and so on at one side of our garden. But it was impossible to keep on watering everything.
