Pigeons!

I have got used to netting all my brassicas, spinach, soft fruit and beetroot against pigeons.
Their tastes have now extended to French beans which until now have been immune.
A whole bed of climbing French beans has been decimated.  It's not as if they've eaten the leaves either, just scattered.  Will sow again and try and protect

Definitely an air rifle job.

We have various outdoor green crops including brassicas, lettuce, spinach, peas, beans etc. but have never been bothered by pigeons either wood pigeons or feral pigeons of which we have loads knocking about. I think its because our neighbours feed them so well on more desirable food. If its practical it maybe worth feeding them with stuff they prefer rather than your veg.
