Light transmission of "debris" netting?
« on: March 11, 2025, 11:40 »
I'm in  the process of net covering a polytunnel frame and want to use "debris" netting for the end panels and door.

The rest of the tunnel will be covered in 40% shade agri/growers insect proof net.

Will the debris netting be too shading - the tunnel is 6m long and 3m wide and the end panels are facing east and west.

Intended crop is brassica

Any views?

Many people grow crops in debris netting cages, so there shouldn't be any problem at all.

Ive seen plenty people grow brassicas under netting before, they do prefer full sun, but certainly grow ok in shaded areas!
