Onion sets

Returning to the site having been absent for a few years.

Looking for a little advice, has anyone grown Alpha onion sets. If so how did they compare with others that you have grown? IE size,taste, storage etc

Thanks Yorkie, the reason I was asking was that I have never heard of them either, they were amongst the usual displays and I thought I would give them a go, the descriptive blurb sounds promising, but we shall see
