I’ve grown rock samphire that I grew from seed. 

It was easy enough to get going, but neither my plot or home soil were right for it so I ended up with it in containers.  It was fine in them, but of course you can only have a few plants.  The pickings were not really worth it, so I gave the plants away.

If you have the right growing conditions or room for a raised bed, it might well suit you.  It does taste very good  :)

I’ve just edited this to make clear what I was actually growing.  Rock samphire needs almost the exact opposite to do well than marsh samphire  :lol:
