I used one with carrot seeds last year and, I must say, that they were brilliant. Prepare the bed, 'sow' the tape, cover, add mesh over the top and left to their own devices for several months. No thinning which is where I usually fall down - too little, too late and the root fly homes in. Lifted parts of the mesh a couple of times for weeding. Brilliant crop, no root fly. Have bought two lots this year - Premier seeds. Not tried anything else and probably won't.
