Something home-made that I have found very useful, a set of sturdy steps that can be easily moved to where you need it. Today I needed it to prune the tops of my cordon-type tomatoes in pots.
It also is good for sitting on to do tasks that might otherwise require extensive stooping or kneeling.
The photos give some idea of how it is constructed. I recommend using wood screws instead of nails for a sturdier build. Mine is constructed of untreated pine, though I would suggest treated pine if it will sit out in the weather. Total dimensions of mine are (inches) 17 H x 27 L x 18 W; each step rise 5.5, run 9.
