something ate my tomatoes?

Just when we want to pick our slowly ripening tomatoes, this happens  any ideas what’s eating our tomatoes?

It's slugs, same thing was happening here, eating peppers as well!!! So a couple of days ago, I threw down a few slug pellets and was surprised by just how many slimy remains there were by the next morning eugh
