Mini Green house problems.

My mini greenhouse blew over yesterday in the strong winds. :cry:
All my leeks, lettuce, cauli's and broadbeans were lost. :cry: :cry:
Does anybody have a successful method of keeping these things upright?

Its.........it's...........it's just.........sniff, sniff........so unfair!! Sob, sob.............WAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH :cry: :cry: :cry:

Did you not put bricks etc. in the bottom, or some paving slabs?

What about putting it in your lounge?

Or more seriously use tent pegs to pin down.

1. Fix it to the wall/fence with wallplugs and tie it with wire. Prevents wind from getting in behind it. They make great kites in high wind!!!
2. Use nylon cord and fix it with tent pugs on the base and run two ropes over the apex and also secure thekm with pegs. This prevents any upward/lateral movement.
3. Buy a big one

I have 25kg bags of builders sand ont he bottom tray in mine, not blown overy yet. Just you watch, bleeding hurrican tonight and it will end up in Ireland :roll:
