I was once told that cabbage whites don't like kale.Left my kale unprotected in my front garden over winter.It became completely skeletonised. Clearly, nobody had told the cabbage whites that they shouldn't be eating it
Next do you strip out the stems before cooking.My daughter just frys it? Is that standard. I assume the kale she buys from the shop is not the red russian kale which has significant stems. Of course I may have just let it grow for too long??
