R.I.P. My dear husband.

R.I.P. My dear husband.

Just to let you all know that my husband passed away peacefully on Wednesday after a long struggle with Multi-System Atrophy. It's a condition similar to MND but a slightly different form. I am blessed to have support from my niece-in-law and his brother to help do all the paperwork and other stuff you need to get going. Thank goodness I had a "must file all this paperwork" recently as I could just pull it all out of the file. Though I am still in a state of disbelief I'm doing ok. My love to you all from GG x

Don't forget to take care of yourself, though, as well as completing all the paperwork.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Goosey.  Even when it's expected, it really doesn't make it any easier. Please take care of yourself, because while you are busy with everything that needs to be done you will probably be able to cope, but you will need your friends and family around you even more in a little while.  A big hug from me and I will be thinking of you each day. X

You have my total sympathy. My wife to whom I'd been married for 53 years passed away four and a half years ago after a  year of acute cancer and there isn't an hour in the day that I don't think of her
