I've got given a young magnolia plant and the leaves have started like this since moving it outside.

I don't know what it is, any advice would be much appreciated.

It could perhaps be a combination of pest, disease and nutrition issues.

Is it in the ground or a pot? What sort of soil do you have? Do you know whether the soil type is mainly acidic or alkaline? Have you been feeding and watering it? Can you see any pests hiding?
