I've recently taken on a far too large plot in Spain! Would love some input about how anyone else here manages. Happy to be part of the allotment 'gang'.

Welcome to the forum  :D

I'd have thought heat-management and drought-resistance / watering are two of your major issues at this time of year!
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thanks Yorkie! Having cossetted and protected the odd pepper plant in the UK with no success, I now find that they suffer from sunburn! We live and learn. :)

Hello and welcome!
I didn't know allotments were a thing in Spain!

Welcome aboard!
We've got a few pages about Spanish growing penned by Dick Handscombe who lives in Valencia. Sadly his great book on growing veggies in Spain is out of print, the publisher went bust and they had the manuscript and photos.

Thanks John. I'll have a look at Dick Handscombe's articles. It seems things are a bit different here. Different times for sowing, planting, etc - and of course, irrigation! My poor plants have been jealous of the rain you've 'enjoyed' over in the UK. All the best.
