I had 1/2 an allotment last year. Now I have 1 1/2. The soil's good. I don't grow grass.

Welcome to the forums  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thank you! I have nosed about and seen information from this site's helpful forums previously, and hope to be able to add at least some sort of value.

A bit like walking around the field, really. You can stop and see someone's plot, crop, or innovation, chat if there's time and inclination, walk on and work at it, or adopt/modify/improve ideas. Metaphore R us?

But grass is the worst weed. At least with fat hen or some others, you can eat them, and/or they cover the ground well, and are easy to remove.

It's great to see an allotment gardening forum.
