Gooseberry harvest

Has everyone harvested there gooseberries? Just realised it’s the middle of July and I haven’t touched them since I put a net on them to keep the pigeons off.

Invicta picked and made into jam. Zenia and Hinnonmäki Rod not ripe yet. I didnt get around to netting them this year and none have been eaten which is a worry.

A much reduced crop from my Invicta plant this year.  Half of it has died, I think from root rot.  The terrible winter weather and the wet has done for it.
It is an old plant I inherited, planted to near the boundary fence, making netting awkward.
Will plant new in a different spot.

Just finished top and tailing my gooseberries. 3 bushes 3 ice cream cartons full. Quite pleased.
How do you all train/prune your bushes?
