Hello can anyone help, I have probably arrived late to the party but I have some swede seedlings in compostable pots I want to plant out on my plot, how deep do I plant them? Thank you so much! In the southeast of England, delayed planting out due to hot weather.

If you are using compostable pots, you need to make sure they are covered by soil or they can wick moisture out of the soil.  Tear off the edges if need be as the plants need to be at roughly the same depth in the soil as they are in their compost.

Mine only went out a week or so ago, so don’t worry about being late.  I never sow swede before mid to late May.
