Wax leaf begonias

Wax leaf begonias

I have overplanted a container, and thought I might thin them out.  They are now about 5 inches tall and going a bit leggy.     Any other plants, I would lay the pot on its side and slide the contents out and do the business, but if I do that all the waxy leaves will break.    Any ideas please.    Mrs Bouquet

The only thing I can suggest is wrapping the foliage in either cloth or paper to try and protect it as best you can as you slide the contents out.

I think you will have to accept some broken leaves though.
