Slow cooked a joint of gammon, cut a thick slice and put it with leftover mash and chunky mixed veg.  Made a nice change and there's probably another 3 thick slices left in it.

First of what felt like a proper harvest home dinner for us  :)

Round plot courgettes hollowed out and filled with cooked rice, some leftover chicken, wilted shredded plot greens and some fridge gravel veg.  I mixed a couple of eggs from our chucks into the filling to hold it together.  After baking through, some grated cheese was added near the end to melt over the top.  Plot new potatoes on the side.

Pasta bake with grilled peppers and cherry tomatoes from the greenhouse and containers at home, plus salad and some garlic bread with the garlic and parsley butter made from my dismal overwintered garlic crop.

I'm trying a Charlie Bingham's chicken korma with pilau rice tonight just for a change.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
