I've got a pork chop defrosting, not sure what to do with it yet - possibly a traybake, or just grill it and m/wave some veg???

Beef ftf (‘Twas Christmas r. Beef) hotpot, just what was needed on a cold, wet day.

Ftf cottage pie & gravy, suppose carrots & peas will feature as an accompaniment, picked some of the perennial brassicas this morning to try, not sure if it was kale or 9 star broccoli  or is it cauliflower?

It feels like a cottage pie kind of day. Mixed veg and spoonstanding to accompany.

Cheese and mushroom ( sorry ham_)  omlettes (I've spelt that word  often  and have tried several times, so apologies,) apparently and we have to eat them now as  the Calcutta Cup    is about to start!

We ummed & ahhd over whether we should have 1 rib eye steak between us or 1 each, turns out 1 between us was enough (told him so ) air fried chips, fried egg for himself & fried mushrooms & Waldorf salad minus the waldorfs for me & tomato sliced. Very nice it was too.

Came down with a really bad case of CBA yesterday and ended up just nuking a spud. I'm not sure if I should try again today with the cottage pie or freeze the mince and do a chicken dinner with the thighs.

Apparently we are going Chinese with prawn wontons, shredded duck and pancakes.  We don't have any cucumber but I've been told it doesn't matter!  ::)

Roast chicken, potatoes & parsnips done in the Air fryer (the theme continues ) and whatever veg we can muster, I’d got perennial brassicas & some psb, but it was too cold to contemplate picking any when I did the 2nd visit to the chickens! . Stuffing for himself & gravy
