The wind started to get up about an hour ago and we've had a cracking thunderstorm. A lot of sheet lightning and one big bang that made the whole bungalow shake, I think a tree has gone down in the hedge 

Have to wait for the morning to see any damage....

Serious thunderstorm on Friday overnight.
Yesterday afternoon better currently grey and more rain threatened.

Thunder and lightning carried on and off 'til about 2 am - some big branches down in the hedge around the car park...
Woke up to some sunshine, but that's gone now, back to wall to wall cloud, 18C

Rain here overnight and all this morning. It has stopped now but it’s still pretty grey.

 Torrential rain since about 3 pm yesterday, has hardly stopped all day,I’ve never seen anything like it, started about 2pm with thunder rolling in followed by light which meant a hasty retreat from the park with the grandchildren ! Humongous cracks of thunder from about 3a.m this morning that carried on & off til about 1pm today. The waterbutts are full! :

We had 25.9mm of rain overnight, lotty paths flooded 
Temps in greenhouse around 17c and they have surface water, so glad I built raised beds after last years rain/ flooding.
A lot of drizzle in the air now.

We were in the yellow alert for heavy rain.  It has rained all day pretty much, but just steady rain or drizzle and no real downpours.

Another rainy day, 15C Fred took 1 look though the cat flap and is now asleep in his box again
