Stuff night but not particularly hot. This morning is 100% low grey cloud cover, still and muggy at even at just 18c .  We could do with a good thunderstorm to clear the air.

Things are fine where I am, safely inland, but in coastal Georgia, in and near the City of Savannah, rainfall total through Friday is forecast to be between 20 to 30 inches (in just 5 days). This is all related to Category 1 Hurricane Debby, which will weaken in wind intensity and stall in terms of forward movement.  Extreme rainfall will result in an area already close to sea level and saturated. Severe property damage and agricultural damage are expected, and loss of life due to flooding is likely for persons that do not evacuate.  Damage will be worst in the southeastern quarter of the state, a near total stall in storm movement is expected on Wednesday, when the storm is over Savannah.

My employer agency with the State of Georgia may mobilize people to help out.  Unlikely that I will be asked to respond personally, though that type of response has happened before.

100% low grey cloud and it's pretty gloomy, I have the lights on. No rain and even though it's only 15c it still feels muggy.

Some patches of blue sky but cooler, breezier and grey most of the time here as well.

Does feel a bit sticky, but not as bad as it was yesterday evening and overnight.
