I've switched the central heating back on, feeling cold makes my old bones ache

Mixed bag today, switching between bright sunshine and threatening rain clouds pretty quickly due to the freezing wind which isn't nice to be in at all.

Same here, I'm still wearing a jumper and a  cardi so we don't have to put the heating on!

 Another horriable day cold and very windy  our heating came on as well

Started bright with patchy sunshine like yesterday, including the bitter wind from the East. It's now clouded over completely, it's dark the wind is still bitter and it's picked up. The thermometer reports 15C, but step out in it and it really doesn't feel that warm. 7c and fog forecast for overnight.

It was pretty grey, cool and windy earlier, but not too bad this afternoon.  We have had some sun and it is warmer.

I?m hoping for better tomorrow.  The Met Office say it will be so fingers crossed they have got it right for once.

Climate warming - pah. Climate wetting would be a better description. looks better and warmer out than it is.

Bright and sunny this morning  Still a bitter wind but it's nice enough to be t-shirt weather when you're out of it.

Really warm and sunny this morning, quite a lot of cloud now though it is moving quickly now the wind has freshened.

Did some gardening out the front this morning, lovely in the sunshine, came round the back and the conifer that we haven't trimmed for over a year casts so much shade that it's chilly here.  We've seen several birds going in and out so it's a job for the Autumn.  Otherwise bright and cheerful.  I'm still chilly at night which actually fits in with the forecast. (For once).
