The cockerel looks like he has some silkie in him from his slicked back hair do and comb. They are beautiful!

Thought he might be as when I got him from previous owner, they said something about Silkie. But Gert was supposed to be one too :S

Gert has lovely feather markings, but she does look as if she is giving you the "evil eye". I certainly wouldn't want to cross her!

they are really lovely
As to what they are? anyones guess!! could be pekinXsilkie -notice his wing position stance and feathered feet - love the slicked back hair!!
The hen may be cochin/brahma cross or pekin cross? How big are they? That would be a clue too!

Beautiful, your lady looks like she has cochin /Brahma  and your man has some Silkie in him I would think.
Happiest in the countryside.
Breathe deeply, and let the butterflies fly in formation!

I think Gertie is a hybrid!! Between a eagle and a chicken!!!  :?   She has a really mean and moody look!

I agree - a touch of sparrowhawk there defiantely
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

I showed my husband Gert and he's smitten - Very annoying seeing as i've had to twist his arm for almost a year to get my ladies! - Her feathers are stunning.
