Just planted beetroot, seeds, squash seeds and cucumber seeds in modules sitting in a tray a few inches of water in the base. Will this be okay?

A few inches of water is too much IMO - just a little in the tray to stop them drying out completely, works for me.

Squash & cucumber are quick to rot I find if over wet!
