I have just delivery of these beans, I planted them immediately, they do not look brilliant,  Are there any special rules, ie, water, slugs etc, thanks.  Mrs B

Well a dose of liquid feed will possibly cheer them up. Along with proper growing weather.

I was told I was wasting space by an old fashioned gardener at our trading hut. I thought he was just being a grumpy old thing and not keeping up with the times. However they didn't crop well for me with all the coddling I could give them.
