Happiest in the countryside.

How can you say that Annie ??

..ok, yeah, fair enough.

We have got used to the flatness and the lack of features. I enjoy the rural open spaces.
But those views are wonderful Viv. I used to go into the peak district a lot and the views were to die for. Bleak one minute and glorious the next.
I do miss hills occasionally but here has its own charm.

Actually Rob, it tripped off the tongue quite easily!!!!! lol

I must admit, I miss the rolling hills of the south downs, and I like Suffolk and Norfolk too. And I liked being near the sea at Clacton way, but yes, this place does have its good bits.............................................
.....................hang on I'll think of something soon! .......................
....................................... still thinking!!!!!!................................

Ermmmmm, it looks nice in the snow!!!!!

Everyone's got skinny legs cos there's no hills to climb.

If you find a road that called 'something Hill' it has a barely discernible hump in the middle.

Where we used to live there was a road called 'Hard Labour Hill'...now that was a good hill ! about 2 miles long and very steep in places.

Cracking views from the top.

Just thought of something about here ...it's cheap !!!
I knew we moved here for some reason.  :D

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one!  But not as cheap as it was 6 years ago!!!!
we seem to be in the flattest bit here though!  You go up towards the Humber and you have the Wolds, which go up and down, or you go to Grantham and that area goes up and down.  But here near Boston you can see for miles!!!!!

This is the nearest you can get to a good view in these parts.

From the top of Boston Stump....

Flat as far as you can see.

This is where we used to walk the dog when we were in Wilts....

Complete with Hercules flypast !

C'est magnifique Jellyhead !!

Been as far Charent maritime and around there. Lovely scenery all across France except close to the Calais region which was too industrial.

You can't beat rolling hills.
