I grow my PSB in containers. Because I am growing a lot more veg in containers this year I am running out of my home made compost. Question; how much would I be risking if I planted new PSB in the same containers without changing the compost this year? As far as I know the original PSB has not been diseased at all but I have never planted brassicas in the same soil 2 years running before.

Worst case they fail to thrive and you don’t get much of a crop, but I suspect they will be fine. Can you not do a crop rotation between different containers?

Some yes, but not all. I will use the containers from my Arran P potatoes but that is only 4 containers worth and I need containers for both Kale and PSB. I am also growing Jazzy potatoes so I will temporarily pot up some PSB in small pots to await these being harvested but I will not have enough and will have to reuse some of the brassica containers. Is there any benefit in planting kale where PSB has been and vice versa or is the risk just the same regardless of which brassica it is?

Brassicas are hungry plants though. Maybe add some BF&B as a minimum.
