After tending my PSB for such a long time I have just lost two plants
. One succumbed to the wind and arctic temperatures but the second is a mystery. It was looking fine and then the leaves started to droop and whither; not just the lower leaves but all of them including the newest. I have destroyed it so as hopefully not contaminate the remaining plants. Has anyone idea what was killing it?

Might have been clubroot, GP...
Symptoms are similar, but you'd notice the swollen deformed roots if you still have them!

Possibly something had a go at the roots such as underground slugs, ants or woodlice?

It was not club root and there were no obvious root eating critters in the container. I am suspecting it was windrock which has broken the minute feeding hairs on the roots. John mentions this in his newsletter 12 Tips for Success with Leafy Brassicas. We have had some tremendously windy conditions here this winter so that would make sense.
