We're in last two days of Greek holiday.  All the food on this little island gets shipped in so nowt particularly special apart from the local figs.  They're sensational - so good they're decadent;  Even Baudelaire would say they're too much

Cumberland Pie with creamed leeks and maybe a pot or two.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I've still not done the shopping so it's looking like chilli and whatever rice I can find.

Cottage pie with filling of mince, lentils, onions and carrots, with the usual mashed spuds on top  :)
Peas, green beans or sprouts in the freezer - I'll choose later  :D

Cottage pie. I had the base mix in the freezer and have just made some mash for the top.

Cottage pie with filling of mince, lentils, onions and carrots

Mine has some lentils snuck in as well. I make a pack of mince do 2 meals for us both by padding out with pulses, or sometimes mushrooms. Cheaper and healthier  :D

Finished the last of the chilli,  but I really need a break from variations of mince beef in a tomato sauce.  :(
