I bought some mince and a swede to try doing some Cornish pasties but I have a real CBA thing going on today. Yesterday was the use by date so I'm going to have to do something else with it, chilli probably and it's been a while since I did some rice.

I'm cooking an American-style Goulash - they cook short pasta shapes in the pot along with everything else.
A fantastic 1 pot meal  :)

I really liked it, I just had a side bowl of mixed salad with it - it already had tomatoes, red & green peppers and onions in it, so I didn't think it need much more in the way of veg  ;)

A rather delicious chicken & tomato & vegetable sauce with pasta & Parmesan cooked up by himself whilst I was out on a trip.

Having bought a jar of ocado own brand hot chilli power, imagine my surprise when it turned out to actually have some kick to it  . There's a first for everything  :nowink: Leftovers tonight, just needs more rice and I might pad it out with some more beans.

 No red beans left ... have to resort to baked beans.

KFC.  Had to have an ultrasound scan at the Hospital at 3pm , not allowed to eat anything for four hours beforehand!  And only allowed to drink 'clear' fluids (Paul and I decided that did not include Gin, Vodka or white rum!!!)  Scan clear so great relief, Paul hadn't eaten as he didn't think it fair to eat when I couldn't so both hungry so stopped off for a takeaway on the way home.

I'm thinking it might have to be tuna pasta bake. There's still a bit of chilli left but it's more of a lunch size than dinner and I don't really want rice again.
