Southern fried chicken style pieces that I found in the little freezer, it's  going to be defrosted this weekend as it has been neglected while I was not up to it over the last year.  I'm catching up.

Chicken stew, then I discovered we had no potatoes to go with it or suet for dumplings.  In the end I made a cheese and herb cobbler topping (new one for me) and stuck the lot in the oven .  I thought they were OK.  OH loved them and wolfed 2 helpings

At breakfast which we had to have early as I had a Hospital appointment, I asked Paul to pass me the jam to put on my toast.  I was spreading it and thought it looked a bit odd.  It was red onion chutney!  Start again, this time with jam.  Tonight is salmon fillet en papiotte with lemon and watercress butter, new potatoes, carrots and courgettes.

Leftovers tonight, there a bit more than 1 portion of Cullen skink & the chicken, bacon & leek pie, so we’re having a starter of the Cullen Skink & a main of the pie with extra veg. Pud will be profiteroles for himself & either cheese & biscuits for me or pineapple & yogurt for me

Found a small tub of chilli and another of mince with butternut squash - I'm going to tip them both into the wok and add some curry spices
It should be interesting, anyway  :nowink:
