CBA fairy here so 2 cups of cappuccino and 3 toasted & buttered hot cross buns  ::)
Blame the Co op - I only went in for some milk but the buns, a pack of 8, were reduced to  50p  ::)

   Deffo their fault  ;)

We had a chicken and bacon bake.  It was going to be a pie, but I forgot to get the pastry out of the freezer.  I added some extra sauce and veg and put a mash top on it, then pretended that was what I intended all along.  OH would feel deeply cheated if he thought he had missed out on pie

We've just looked at the date   on the anti-pasta that we got out of the freezer - 2014.  I like fruit at breakfast, the only fruit I could find the other day was a tin of  pineapple, again 2014. Oh dear, looks like we need another clear out.
I often eat things very out of date.   My rule is, sniff and taste, if both are ok, eat.   Mrs Bouquet.

I used a premade pizza base yesterday and it had a distinct white spirit taste  and is still repeating on me. I have mince which needs to be cooked, might make a spag bol before the green peppers go all wrinkly.

OH had a busy day out off road biking and I did too much gardening to have energy left for cooking, so we had curry from the freezer with rice and an onion, tomato and cucumber salad.

There is a beer for us each in the fridge as well.  I think we will be nodding off over our glasses in an hour or so though  :D

Put some curry spices in the slow cooker with a tin of new spuds I found, a tin of toms and a couple of onions.  Not expecting a miracle but at least it should be hassle free.
