It is not windy here though.  Quite the opposite and very still.

It poured down during the night, stopped at about 07:00 now it is sunny(ish) and blowing a hooli.

Driving to work this morning was a nightmare.  We did leave home 20 minutes before we normally do as it was hammering down.  The place at Merstone that usually floods wasn't too bad, but the turning onto the Chale  Road was about three inches deep.  Thank goodness we have a diesel  van.  We 'found' pockets of water that we hadn't seen.  Even parts of the Milly (Military Road) were under water from runoff.  Brightened up about 11am  and the journey home was a different story, I don't know where some of the water had gone as there are no drains along most of that road.

The windy weather arrived here about lunchtime.  Currently wet and blowy, with strong gusts that make the trees really trash about.

very wet and windy, but the roof is finally mended so no leaks today - relief.

It has actually stopped raining, but is still pretty grey and everything is wet and dank from the weekend downpours. 

The garden really needs a good clear up, but it is not enticing when all the foliage is holding water and likely to soak me

It was clear first thing, and MetO told me it would be sunny 'til about 2pm, so I some washing in the m/c.
They lied, it started raining before the washer finished a quick wash cycle 
Washing hanging on the shower rail, yet again  wish I had room for a tumble dryer.....

 I'd be lost with out my T/D ours is in the shed outside   
 At least it's been dry all day, we were able to cut the raspberries down before tip comes tomorrow.

Every time we had to go outside it absolutely  poured down.  We could hear it pounding on the window at the Hospital today and then on the thin Tesco roof.  We've now got a couple of large puddles in lower parts of our garden.  There can't be much more up there to come down, can there!
