Weak sunshine, blue skies, dry, calm but just under freezing. Could be a lot worse!

Rain overnight again but currently dry it's cooler at just +2c and still pretty windy. I have a meeting this morning otherwise it would be another duvet day.

Edit : Within 10mins it's started to absolutely pour down. So now it's cold, dark, windy ... and raining.

Just had a light snow shower which has sent the temperature down from 2.8C to 1.1C ('feels like' -3.4C in the northerly breeze according to the local weather station, and, trust me, I'll take their word for it!  ;))

The snow at 8am settled on frozen ground, the sun thawed it a bit and a few people walked on it. Think skating ring under blue skies and now it's freezing again.

The wind and rain during the night was horrendous.  Fortunately both had died down when Paul left for work but he says the state of the roads in places was very bad.  Going down into the dip just before Godshill was 5" under water.  Been quite bright this afternoon but it's that 'different' kind of brightness.

Cold...  -3c and it feels like it, sky is lighter but there's still cloud cover. At least the rain has stopped, but the heating has come on as it's below 10c inside again.

Snap! A very hard frost, so white that before I opened the curtains I thought we'd had snow
Where the path was flooded is now thick ice, must go and throw some sand/grit on 'my' bit, haven't got enough to do any more than that..

Bright and dry but very cold. Maybe snow at lunchtime according to the Met Office.

In a few words, I went out with a friend in brilliant sunshine. Came back with a lot of snow falling.

"Bang, bang, merrily the cars
Are crashing all around us,
Hence there's quite a lot of roads
With quite a lot of tailbacks."

I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

The sky is very pale this morning, it's -3C, obviously a hard frost, but at least the wind has dropped  ::)
The tub I leave out to collect water has split with the ice..

It's warmed up a bit here - +3ºC So it's dull, windy and wet.

Light dusting of snow overnight but the cloud cover has increased the temperature and it's +1c. It's cloudy but they're white rather than grey. I noticed the daffs are starting to show up in the park  feels a little early.

We had a sharp frost and everything was glittering with it this morning.  It has been a lovely day once it warmed up though, with clear blue skies.  Cold, but felt so much better than the wet, grey yuck we have been getting :)

Cold, white over with a heavy frost currently -1c. Wind has dropped and there's some actual blue sky about, there may even be some sunshine by the looks of it.
