Still not really light, heavy rain with winds that are blowing the rain straight onto the windows, sounds horrendous out there

Similar to Snowy, squally rain and wind.  There was mention of 'the beast' from the east coming shortly at lunchtime today.  Not looking forward to that at all (if it  materialises).

There are a few blue patches amongst the grey, 7C with a gusty breeze. More rain forecast for later

Another really horrible night - heavy rain and high winds. It's settled down this morning and there's currently some very low sun shine and a mild +6c, if everything didn't feel so damp and soggy it would be a nice day.  The forecast is for that to all change at lunchtime, there's already another food warning in place.

It is actually dry with blue sky here, but I see the forecast is for rain later 

Is it me or has it actually not stopped raining since the news media went into a frenzy and councils started implementing drought restrictions last year

Seriously wet and grey!
At some point I will have to check my allotment but wonder if I will need a boat.
Not sure I can do anything useful there at present I’m afraid.
Given the forecast for tomorrow I think I’m going to mount some photographs for a competition in the morning. At least I will be dry.

Started off quite nice this morning but about 3pm the wind got up and it's been squally showers since 4pm.

Yep - about the same here but +11c. Even the dog is fed up with it and taken to going back to bed until lunchtime.
