No idea what to call this subject!

Good evening everyone, how long ago were we pleading for rain? ? ?

Anyway,  in a previous life as a technical author  I used to know a set of keystrokes for inserting a set text previously stored (like an address or greeting) without
cutting and pasting numerous times.

Does anyone out there know what the heck I'm on about and can help?

Are you referring to auto text and auto correct in Microsoft Word ?

Is Growster's the same as doing Find and replace?

You can uses Find and replace within a document, but I tried it once and got quite a lot of gobbledegook as the word I was trying to change had several variations, like possessives etc..., so I decided to do it all 'manually', (which is once a year..;0)
