haven't been on site for a few days 'my computer has been Hacked so I had to get it sorted then had a complete PC clean down, so I was without the PC for several days and I have had problems re-connecting to this site for some reason or another hopefully it's all restored now

thanks, all for your kind replies hopefully it all resolved now £100 was something I didn't need to spend but then the chap has done a good job on cleaning out the Pc and now I'm able to speak to all you lovely people on site

Your post about hacking highlights why I gave up online banking 10 years ago.
Bank showed no interest in protecting my account so I stopped using online and returned to strange things called cash and cheques. Annoying thing is all banks are closing branches but many older people are at risk of scams conducting financial matters online or by phone.

I have never done on-line banking and never will. I so fear for older or non-savvy pc users as well because scams are becoming so sophisticated these days that they can fool the best of us.

I couldn't agree more with both Gooseygirl and Hampshire hog we don't do online banking and never will it's a pain that all our local banks have close who we bank with, so we have to travel around twelve miles to use our bank but it's much safer for us country bumpkins to do that

as for the scammers scum nothing but scum lock um up and through away the key: mad:
