« on: October 09, 2022, 13:57 »
Do I need to give them any fertiliser or food now or what type of food shall I give them when I need it?  Thanks.

They will be losing their leaves soon and shutting down for the winter, so I don't feed mine at this time of year.  I will be mulching them over the winter with homemade compost, but you can also use soil improver or manure.

In the spring I usually give all my soft fruit some fertiliser.  Last year I used Growmore and scattered it around the plants on top of the mulch.

I've got a load of Erika's compost. Would that be okay to spread round my gooseberries?
