Yellowing between the vains.
« on: September 02, 2022, 21:25 »
Hi.
My pepper plants are yellowing in between the veins.  What's the best way to deal with this?  There is some green and white fly on them which I'm trying my best to keep under control.  Is there a liquid feed I can give them.  They are in tubs the kartky method.

Please help.
Thanks
Dear God, Please can you stop the wind and rain and bring on the nice weather. Amen

Have you been feeding them up till now? If so, with what?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

According to this site https://www.sandiaseed.com/blogs/news/yellow-leaves-on-pepper-plants
peppers don't like having wet feet, so perhaps not ideal for the system you are using.

A liquid feed with added seaweed may help, I find it useful for any discolouring of leaves.

HI,

I've had great success last with this method and I was feeding them masterblend.

This year I've been feeding them with this,
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Chilli-Premium-Liquid-Concentrated-Fertiliser/dp/B00453Y92S/ref=asc_df_B00453Y92S/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=265495279369&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7786254296202137795&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045159&hvtargid=pla-422695577425&psc=1

they are still doing very well just getting yellowing between the vain like I said.

Nutrient deficiency symptoms are not always clear cut, but yellowing between leaf veins can be a sign of magnesium deficiency:

Although your liquid feed mentions containing magnesium as a trace element, it wouldn't hurt to add a small dose of Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) to the feed to make sure it's not actually the cause of the problem.
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!
